Hello I'm a spanish boy. This is the first time that i post in this forum. Hope you can help me.

I would like to know what's Bono says in the live versions of Bad (like the AIDs version) of the 80's, in the end of the song, something like " goodbye will be ....who's gonna..." or " I hope you..." i don't understand this part, do you know? Tell me please

Thank you.

The "i hope you" part at the end of some versions of bad is bono singing snippets of 2 songs by the rolling stones called "ruby tuesday" and "sympathy for the devil."

the official lyrics of the Stones' "Ruby Tuesday" is

"goodbye, ruby tuesday, cwho could hang a name on you?"

Sympathy for the Devil is...

"Pleased to meet you! I hope you guess my name"

You mean Live Aid? It's what U2Phan said if you mean the Ruby Tuesday and Sympathy for the Devil snippets.

"Goodbye Ruby Tuesday, who could hang a name on you?"
"I'm pleased to meet you... I hope you guessed my name!"
