24 March 2010

Happy 50th birthday to Ashdown main-man Mark Gooday who celebrated the event by 'getting away from it all' for a few days in Vegas with his wife Jane. He actually got about 2 blocks down the strip before meeting U2 cover band The Joshua Tree and bassist Scott Jones with his ABM900 rig. Fortunately there's nothing Jane loves more than listening to Mark talking bass!

Scott's Adam inspired bass rig is MORE than inspired... in many places it exact! Warwick Reverso Adam Clayton Sginature bass? Check. Purple Sparkle finish Fender Precision? Check. Weathered Fender Precision bass with House of Pain sticker (ala Joshua Tree Adam)? Check. And YES - Elevation and Vertigo tour era Amps of Adam - Ashdown.
