AC30 or valtronix

HI,

Pretty new in guitar world and would like to purchase a nice amp that will get me closer to edge sound. Is there a big difference between ac30 and a valvetronix equivalent amp for the sound?

There's a ac30cc2 which has the GSH12-30
speakers for a 1000 cnd would that be good enough and is it a good price

Um....there's a difference, but I really love the Valvetronix. It's not *quite* an AC-30 but it's very capable, reliable, and crystal clear. And affordable.

the valvetronix is awesome. i have the 30 watt one, and its pretty damn close to some of edge's tones.

I'm starting to lean towards valvetronix probably ad60vt or depending on the price 120vt mainly cuz they offer more then ac30

the interface is pretty much the same for all the models. if you play live in clubs or something, i would get something more powerful like the 60. But if you're just sitting around your house playing, then i'd get the 30 or 50, cause the 30 i have is real loud, and i keep it on 15w (there is a knob that you can control the amount of watts on the 30 and 50 models)
