I see the dege playing this song and I think he plays something like this:

e--3-3-x-3-3-3
b--1-1-x-1-1-1
g--0-0-x-2-2-2
d--2-2-x-3-3-3
a--3-3-x-x-x-x
E--x-x-x-x-x-x

I think that this is the riff,

what do you think?

thanks

I think thats how he plays it bud. Its a simple 2 chord progression... C to F... and that F chord he shows is the right one! I think its correct!

The song is based around chord progressions of C major.
The original is played in Bar chord form.

The Slane version is a more layed back version where the Edge plays the chords in the open positions.

On the F chord the top E string is played open thus becoming a mojor seventh. This adds a nice twist to the sound of the song and also makes it a bit easier to play.

the high E string is not played. the chords i put above are correct. this isn't that hard to figure out.

i prefer the bar chord version anyway.
