can anyone explain to me how a song which is now the #5 single in the UK, as well as a charity single for Katrina Victims is available on iTunes practically everywhere EXCEPT the US?

does that make any sense?
when do we get it?

a huge hit, but only for the rest of the world.
a charity song, but not for our ears.

im willing bet that Rhapsody donated a bit of money to Music Rising in order to obtain exclusive rights to the song for a certain period of time

I burned it to a CD within Rhapsody and then imported the CD into itunes.

Exactly the same with the Canadian store today. Just the live version. Obviously, there are contractual reasons for the studio version being excluded, but when u218 becomes a downloadable album on itunes the Saints studio song is out there.
