I don't equate the two. SUC is toothless rock - this is fun pop. A more apt comparison, IMO, would be Wild Honey - which I'm a huge fan of.

Yep. I think it just doesn't fit well on the album. I also like the loose, fun feel of it, but it also just isn't my thing.. So while i don't dislike it, i just don't love it. Would have been a cool B-side.

It fits in that it's a letter to the fans (I think that's what it's about, if I recall correctly?) - I would be sad if we didn't get a letter on the album too.
