The emailers, the guy who posted the link to GetMusic (that guy deserves one serious round of drinks), and of course everyone who hung out on the leak threads for a week straight. And yes, that includes all the punners, the french and italian invaders, the haters, the cynics, the comedians, and everyone in between. This has been such a fun week, and I'm not going to forget it anytime soon.

Now let's never speak of this again to anyone.

This place was like therapy during all of the (weeklong) imminence of this leak. Puns were crafted, the eight ball was consulted, the french invaded, the nation of Spain was disgraced, and yet, when the dust cleared...the album was worth every second of the wait.

As I was listening to the album, I thought that I would come here and make a thread titled 'interference appreciation thread', and you beat me to it. just shows this forum is full of good people...... and thank you (rick mg, vertigo623, mudfield and, Arjen) sooo much for sending all the emails, aall those posting in the leak threads, thanks for whipping up such a frenzy, adds to the whole atmosphere of the new album experience.

Would just like to echo all of what has been said,when i woke up this morning and realised it had leaked,i went straight to the request thread. And within 1 minute i had the link,so i spent the whole day at ''work'' listening to the album! Cheers again guys!:

Interference has added to my experience as a U2 fan... I became active last tour in this place and it was great... talking about the tour, best versions, the whole shebang.

I felt like last night I was having our own private listening party... and it was great to share early thoughts... it was fun... it is fun... most people here are awesome.

Blue Crack has gotten me through the last few months, and as much as I would have loved to wait for the cd... last night will go down as the most fun music experience i've had thus far. Thanks to everyone for being such a great group of people. Getting a link to the album in less than a minute... thank you thank you thank you.

My brother and my wife and I had an impromtu listening party rather than going to dinner. I was literally out the door when i checked here again (as i do all day every day) and said. "Everyone sit down, we eat later" and we shared an awesome listening party that some of my friends claim just doesn't happen in the digital age.

Thanks interference for proving them wrong and blowing my mind.

YES. Thank you so much to all the mods. I have no idea how you keep everything under control when I, just one poster, was losing my mind trying to find out about the album arriving. I was confused and had every question answered by interference members. I cant imagine what its like for the mods when this board goes as nuts as it did last night, keeping threads under control ,etc. A big THANK YOU.

Same to all who sent me the link numerous times until it finally downloaded for me! I am sorry I was not able to help kick out the links this time as I was too busy trying to get it for myself, make sure my computer was ok, and getting the 1st listen under wraps.

I joined in January 2008 and pretty much saw most of the NLOTH run up on this site. To say I have been very impressed with the level of commitment and professionalism dedicated to a fan site for a rock band would be an understatement. Goes to prove, U2 truly has the best fans! It is so great to be able to discuss U2 with fellow fans and get all the latest information and viewpoints. Everyone from the youngest 14 yr olds to the fans since Boy, all bring a unique perspective and unique story to this site.

Blue crack certainly makes the long, cold Vermont winter much more bearable!
