If the Vegas Sphere opening is delayed, and if (very big if) recording sessions are feasible for Larry in a way touring isn't without surgery, I wonder if this increases the odds of getting new music sooner rather than later in 2023.

Sphere remains on track for a fall 2023 opening, according to Byrnes.

And frankly, that the project is running about 9% over estimated cost is actually low for most large construction projects.
