U2 fans always tend to rave about stuff that remains unreleased and whine about the songs that are released. I'm sure if they had chosen to do it the other way round, it would be the same just with contrary results.

I can not really say how good or not good a song is if I only hear it in a raw unfinished version in bad quality. You never know how it would have turned out in the end if they decided to release it.
