Rock n' Roll Doggie
So this was The "the huge" surprise U2 had in store for us on the 13th of October? Or is that on Tuesday the 14? If this was it then blah!
I'll bet his favorite flavor (or favourite flavour, if you like) is Rocky Road.
So everyone knows the video was completely staged, right? That yet couldn't show actual pedestrians walking on the sidewalk unless they had signed waivers? Right? Right?
Not really.
They had to interview every single one of those people.
The ones that did not know who U2 band were, got to be in the video.
That is why you see those little kids running by. Others just hang by
the wall and wonder if they are going to play anything by "One Direction".
The old man on the bicycle, he don´t care. He only hears music by
the Grateful Dead. The girl with the dog , she don´t know them either.
She is just there for the FREE ice cream.
They all got paid with free ice cream at the end of the film shoot.

There were interviews back then with people who "just passed by" and were surprised to see U2 perform. I think someone mentioned Bono buying them an ice cream. They were residents, as far as I remember. I don't think it was staged. If I remember correctly, they played "Desire" for the people there. I'm just wondering what that wicked Elvis thing was all about.
Or there could have been crew off-camera who stopped anyone who walked past and had them sign wavers.
Wait, so we're getting a single in September and then an album in October???? Awesome sauce. Here´s what I have found out from the internet, just out of curiosity
because of this promo-video ...
The Irish Times reports that a music industry insider said that the release schedule will
go something like this: “single in September, album September-October, tour announced
December, first date April next year.” Apparently, the album has been done for months
but the label decided to not release it during the summer.
There was also a last-minute scramble to come up with a big single for the album and
they brought in Adele producer Paul Epworth to help. At a music conference in May,
former U2 manager Paul McGuinness talked about the album, “It’s great. It’s very
different from what they have done so far but still sounds like U2. Bono sings better
than ever. As he gets older his voice is even more interesting.”
Now that the album appears to be finished, the next step is promotion: fansite @U2
points to a tweet (in French) from Concept K Design indicating that a video is currently
being filmed in Nice.
We’ll see what comes out over the next few months — it’s been five years since
U2′s last album, No Line On The Horizon.

So ,
perhaps this means they were filming something in NICE by the seaside for
a new U2 video.

But BAGEL has such a sweet duality.

If there was a video being shot by one of the biggest, most recognizable celebrities in the world on your local sidewalk... how many people would just walk right by with a look of total disinterest?
