I have also heard the song, and I think it sounds like a mix of all earlier U2 songs, especially all the beachclips! But the main influences are War, TJT, AB, POP, ATYCLB and HTDAAB, I think. The vocals are by Bono, and the guitarplaying is done by Edge, who by the way is on fire. The song has a rhythm section. I can reveal that the song will end up on the Singles compilation! It will be played on the radio, every once in a while, and it will have a video.
