According to a poster in Music from the internet subforum, some of the lyrics

"I wanna be the sky tonight
a window in the sky, alright
the moon is sleepy
can you rejoice?"

Here's the full post:

A friend of mine sent me an excerpt of the lyrics. I can't tell where he got it.

Enjoy"

"I wanna be the sky tonight
a window in the sky, alright
the moon is sleepy
can you rejoice?"

Another mystery source. For all we know, it was written by the poster's friend's uncle's neighbor's barber's college roomate's dog groomer.

Bono and I were downing a bottle of tequila while watching some porn and he sang the next stanza to me...

"I wanna be the sky tonight
a window in the sky, alright
the moon is sleepy
can you rejoice?"

"I don't wanna pick a fight
with the window in the sky, alright
so get down on your kneepys
and dream outloud!"

Change your own kneepys, chizpiz!

PS.

'Window in the Sky (Over a Glass of Wine and Swiss Cheese)'

Under a window in the sky
I sat there dreaming of the moon
as it fell asleep
over a mountain of sheep
crumbling beneath
a plate of swiss cheese

Window in the sky!
It's brighter than day tonight!
Swiss cheese?

Ali would say the sweetest thing from 1987 was crap thats why she said they need to re record it before they ever think about releasing it as a single.....the one from 1998 is far better, the one from 87 is just more raw but its not good.

Have been listening to 402 and from 3.00 I think I hear “we made love that/last night next bit inaudible then at 3.07 “a boy falls from the sky” Could be wrong!

Woo-hoo! Someone else hears this besides me! I think that part is actually fairly clear---much more so than most of the first chorus part---and I think "and a boy falls from the sky" is pretty darn clear. Especially if you throw some headphones on.

As for the other line you mentioned, I haven't caught that...but I'll take another few listens.

side note:

I had stopped listening to the beach clips for a while because I didn't want to get tired of them well before they came out officially (if they do...)............but the more I listen to 400 & 402---especially 402---they're still so awesome. I'm giving 404 a break because I think it's phenomenal but can see myself more easily getting tired of it... 403, eh, I never really was a huge fan of from the start.

402 on any album would make it a masterpiece in my eyes.

kindergarten lyrics
Personally, I don't believe the lyrics are real, but imagine if, pre-ATYCLB, someone had posted saying they heard that:

"A mole, digging in a hole
Digging up my soul now
Going down, excavation
I and I in the sky
You make me feel like I can fly
So high, elevation"

and

"In the days
When we were swinging from the trees
I was a monkey
Stealing honey from the swarm of bees"

Were lyrics for the coming album, would they be believed at all?

in with "then a boy falls from the sky". One of Bono’s children is a
Boy. The whole theme for this song for me anyway and from what I can make out is about life at home. Must go and listen some more very intriguing.

 Oh, and by the way these are only my opinions:bump:

402:at 00.39 i hear "all you do is nag":madwife: And, referring to my previous post I also think that big G is evolved in the theme of the song some where.

"I was warm out of Sian in the hall"

That was what I thought I heard the first time I tried to listen carefully to the lyrics...

"I was warned oh the sirens in the war" seems more likely though...

You clould be right i here what sounds
like war and sirens at 00.59 i hear "on the road to get to your door". But the thing is these lyrics have more than likely been change. Billboard have said the song is called Window On The Sky. Who know what the subject matter will be. War,Home Big G.

I was thinking shall i just give up and wait and see how things turn out or just keep plugging away?
:eyebrow: I think i will just keep plugging away:crazy:
