For me Boots comes at the perfect time in the album. I find it a breath of fresh air when it comes up, and that's not saying I don't like the rest of the album because I love it.

I like the album the way it is, I feel Crazy, Boots and SUC are quite different from the rest of it as the first poster said, but I prefer listening to this transition (I've tried the other way on my ipod).
I like Winter and I would have liked to listen to it in a more finished state, I don't know why they didn't include it, maybe they thought there were too many ballads for a U2 album. Finally, I prefer NLOTH (album) as it is to Linear.
