You have to have the photo hosted on an external site--uploading directly through interference doesn't work. You can use your email storage like google+ (if you don't mind being linked to your identity here, or some people keep a separate email for forums), or a host site like imgur. tinypic or photobucket. Once you have it stored online, you can copy the IMG link and paste it in to the box that appears when you click the insert image icon.
