It's strange how little pics I have of him with it. And he didn't use it all that much this tour. Did he only use it on MLK/Scarlet? I tend to take a pic with each guitar at each show I go to, but I only found two bums and these three.

I took these when Edge's auctioned 1975 LP Custom was on display at Guitar Center in Northridge, CA - June 1, 2008.

Epiphone isn't going to sound the same. Stock pickups are not so good on the Epi's either.

i think i did it!!!!!!!!! i have to try and get it soon! My dad keeps saying "its cool I'm going to have a new guitar" and I'm like ..... YOU CANT PLAY!!!!!!

Not everyone can spend 3.9 K on a guitar... To get the sound right.

And I knew you'd complain that I said that.

[Kidding]

But I find it fair to point out the fact, even if obvious to some... Something that might 'look' close to what Edge uses, will not always 'sound' close/exact to what Edge uses.

That isn't to say that one must spend $3K.

The point being don't expect a $500.00 guitar to sound like a $3K guitar.

Second, if you buy the Epiphone, you can make some upgrades to improve the sound and playability of the guitar.

Those improvements won't necessarily make it sound like a vintage LP but they would get you leaps and bounds better tone than a stock Epiphone LP.
