As much of a geek as I am about guitars and such, drums are my first love. I've been playing drums since I was 11. I didn't start playing guitar in earnest until 1997-1998.

I wonder though, was the listing in order of drumming importance/noteworthiness or just the top 12 moments in any random order?

I think the numbers themselves weren't important. There was no specific order.
