Larry Mullen Jr. (Kevin Mazur/Getty Images). . . Larry Mullen Jr. at the 9:30 club Friday night. The U2 drummer, clad in all black, slipped in for the Thievery Corporation show -- just a couple of weeks after performing at the "We Are One" inaugural concert on the Mall. Stood in the VIP balcony; told a fan he was back in town for a meeting.




Twice in two weeks? Is he going to become a frequent visitor now?

WTF.. why didn't I go to this show.. shit.. This is in my backyard practically!

That is because the likelihood of paparazzi hanging out in front of the 9:30 Club on a random evening to see who might show up... even a weekend night... is about zero! It's a punky, funky, smallish club with an attitude, not a celebrity following. Though the acts it books are incredible, in a punky, funky kind of way!

That is because the likelihood of paparazzi hanging out in front of the 9:30 Club on a random evening to see who might show up... even a weekend night... is about zero! It's a punky, funky, smallish club with an attitude, not a celebrity following. Though the acts it books are incredible, in a punky, funky kind of way!

Wonder if he was checking out possible tour support? Larry and Adam stay on top of checking out up and comers because they can go around without being recognized most of the time.
