Wire is just one of those songs, at least for me, that really get the heart pumping. Edge's guitar riff througout the piece is really intense, and Bono's lyric's are so dark it's awesome.

What are all of your opinions on Wire? Please share.:)

Love the song, especially that nervous and upbeat intro, swiftly turning into frenzy drum backup.........

U2Fan101, I agree, it's a great song. You need to check out the recent thread in the Everything You Know Is True forum. It's fairly lengthy, and though it starts out negative, the song ends up having many supporters. You might not get too big a response here, because a lot of people wrote about the song in that thread.

Just have to add I love that song and find it really energising! I love Bonos vocal on it.
I understand the song is about drug addiction, I still dont 'get' all of the lyrics but it doesnt matter!

Very nice how it swirlls up at the beginning...
They should play it next tour medley-wise directly after "Bad"(also about addiction)...
But then they have to give "Bad" an "Exit" kinda ending...
