Walk On:

"All that you fashion
All that you make
All that you build
All that you break

All that you measure
All that you feel
All this you can leave behind

All that you reason
All that you care

It's only time
And I'll never fill up all my mind(???)

All that you sense
All that you scheme
All you dress up
And all that you see

All you create
All that you wreck
All that you hate"

Eclipse:

All that you touch
All that you see
All that you taste
All you feel.
All that you love
All that you hate
All you distrust
All you save.
All that you give
All that you deal
All that you buy,
Beg, borrow or steal.
All you create
All you destroy
All that you do
All that you say.
All that you eat
And everyone you meet
All that you slight
And everyone you fight.
All that is now
All that is gone
All that’s to come
And everything under the sun is in tune
But the sun is eclipsed by the moon.

There is no dark side of the moon really. matter of fact it’s all dark.

I am really just starting to get into Floyd and I was listening to Pulse the other day and I heard those Lyrics and exactly the same thought came to mind.

Yea I noticed that too. But listen to "Take it Back" from The Division Bell and try to tell me they weren't copying U2.

This has been in debate since 2000. It's not exactly news. Anyway, yes, it's a curious little anomaly. Live versions of Walk On have more lyrical similarities to Eclipse than the studio version. Half the reason why I never liked Walk On from the outset. I try not to put too much thought into it, though. As Princey said, there are worse bands to copy. And even though the similarities (right down to the pauses in the singing) are staggering, it's probably just a coincidence.

Eclipse > Walk On

As far as i'm concerned I dont care how they came up with them Cos I love It! Every single note, lyric and drum beat

It's sandwiched up there between Streets and stay in my top three U2 songs.
