Nobody here thinks 'life should be fragrant rooftop to the basement' is poor writing???

Yeah, I agree. I love the song but this last verse does ruin it to a bit for me. I really don't like the hip hop bit as it really dates the song. Most of their music has a "timeless" quality about it and they kind of ruined it for this song by tacking this verse on.

That's just my two pence anyway.....
