Can anyone tell me what that bit in the middle of Seconds is, where the music pretty much stops and there's this military style sort of chanting going on? There's one bit that goes "I wanna live a life of danger"... I'm just really curious...

Well I have my handy "U2:Into the Heart" guide right here

:

It says that this military chanting is a lifted sample from a '82 TV documentary titled "Soldier Girls"... U2 felt that it would fit perfectly -- this disturbing evidence of training for an atomic attack. Bono states that he was watching this documentary in the Green Room in Windmill studios and he recorded it.. it later resurfaced on Seconds

I know the "I wanna be an airborne ranger"-line, but what you might have noticed. That only comes out of the right (or left i don't know if my speakers are plugged in right) speaker (God bless stereo). There's alos some talking coming out of the other speaking, what are they talking about?
