I would like to know what those lyrics mean throughout the song

Gloria, in te domine

exalte

misere

I took latin for 4 years in HS, but I really do not remember them properly, and I don't know how the words would go together, different agreements, etc, orjust whatever the band was trying to say

I did a 'brief) search, and didn't find too much about this song

thanks for any information

I Absolutely love this song and love singing it, but I haven't a clue as to what all the Latin means. I would love to find out, so I am hoping someone will post here and share it.

same here.........

I was singing it all day long, and playing out drum and guitar rythems in class. I kind of wanted to start shouting

"GLLLOOOOOOOORRRRIAAAAA! IIIINNNN TTEEEE DOOOOMIINEEE~!!!!"

when walking between classes to the people..... but.........

I just kept it all in my head.............

for now

when i was about fifteen years old, i was curious what it meant as well

so, i went to my local library, found the latin dictionaries, and did some research

"Gloria in te domine" = Glory in you, Lord.

It's "Exultate," not "exalte," I think... that means "rejoice" or "exult."

"Miserere" = Have pity on me.
