There is a bit in Another Time, Another Place where Bono appears to be singing in German, does anyone know what he is saying?

It's not German, it's Bongolese... and no one knows what he's saying - at least, no one can agree on it.

Im searching for what he's actually saying, but translated it is:

I never had it before
I never watched it before
I never knew any words cause I had no ideas...
I never had it before
I never watched it before
I never knew any words I could understand I...

Cheers. Thanks for that.

rivergoat, it's not Bongolese... it's BONOLESE!

Errr, actually, didn't one of the other members of the band refer to his ramblings as "Bono-eze"?

Great, now I am contradicting myself....

Heheh - I personally prefer the term Bongolese and must admit to having used it recently (in public as well, which is scary).
