Bono's mystery mutter in Sometimes...

After the second chorus, but before the "I know that we don't talk..." part, Bono can be heard, saying something.
Can anyone hear what he's saying?

I think it's "chase this" but after that, another word or two comes.

Check mate is correct in the booklet but the rest is off...I hear shots fall, shot dead ?
Live he says "hours of fun" so that doesn't help either...

and for SYCMIOYO, I hear

as in "she says that/I know that we don't talk/I'm sick of it all......" maybe a reference to Ali?
