Can we put all the information we know about this lovely song on this thread?

I’ll start with a link the tuwie posted to an article about why the song was taken off the album

I had asked where it would have been in the running order of HTDAAB and someone said it was to be somewhere in the middle, anyone have anything more specific?

Please post any (semi) credible information out there about this song here.

it's not about the running order, but this article mentions mercy and a little behind it's meaning

I wonder if THE fan that received the first copy is an interferencer. then he/she could tell us where it was ordered on that CD they got ;]

Mercy was originally leaked in the Interference forums.

It was first posted as a Windows Media Audio file titled simply, "track12.wma"

yeah I was always under the assumption from things I read that it was track 12 on the CD, but maybe that was just from the original WMA file name.
