That after all these years, U2 is still making good albums, great in my opinion. The fact that they even appear on some critics top album lists of the year is such a feat. I certainly don't rely on critics to say whether or not I love an album, but their appearance does make me proud of them, that they still care, you know? I got to thinking about this, their beginnings, while reading the book Killing Bono by one of Bono's boyhood pals/wannabe rock star, Neil McCormick. I mean, Bono knew then that U2 was special. I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves U2, or ever dreamed of making it big in life. A fun read.
