off topic: does anyone know how to transfer the music files off one ipod to another? is it possible? or do you have to reload everything to itunes and then onto the new ipod? the reason i'm asking is that i plan on getting a 160gb ipod an don't want have to remake all my playlists' over again.
thanks.

all LPs, Passengers, Million Dollar Hotel, all Singles and B-Sides, audio rip of all live DVDs, some bootlegs, and more stuff that I cannot think of.

A problem very easily solved. Try using YamiPod or Floola to copy the songs back onto the computer, and copy songs onto the iPod. YamiPod is less finicky and loads much quicker, but Floola will preserve the album art of the files. I believe both have the option of exporting playlists as well. However, since these programs are unofficial and (slightly at times) imperfect, iTunes is always the better, more hassle-free option. Hope I helped.

My U2 iPod is filled with almost all U2. All albums, B-sides, soundtracks from all their movies & side jobs, sound tests, bootlegs, shows, early recordings and interviews. I wish I could get the clickwheel to work again though, it just stopped working! And I didn't drop it or misuse it in any way.

Bootleg wise I have:
PopMart Live from Mexico City
Vertigo Live from Chicago 9-20-05
And just "Bad" Live from Denver from the JT Tour

BTW when I got U218 I was starting to really get into them and I wanted WITS and TSAC (actually I didn't really care all too much about TSAC, but it is still a good listen) and the live songs. So before anyone starts saying "Why'd you buy that cause a real U2 fan should already have all those songs?!" I was just starting out as a U2 fan.

All albums, and while I have all of the greatest hits compilations, I've only picked and choosed the songs from those discs that don't feature on any album. Nothing lke multiple versions of the same song to fuck around with your playlist.

Everything. All albums, 8 concerts and maybe 20 singles and B-sides.
I have a big iPod, why not?

All, plus all singles, B-Sides, some concerts, most remixes etc etc, i have 587 U2 songs on there, then, i can fit around 30,000 songs on it, not that i will..lol

I also have a few of their radio interviews stored.

399 songs under U2, The Edge's Captive soundtrack, Million Dollar Hotel soundtrack, Passengers, In the name of the Father soundtrack, about 15 Bono/collab tracks, 11 concert bootlegs.

Every single thing they ever released, including a couple of bootlegs.

Though I'm always using shuffle and for the past weeks I use playlists...

All the albums, b-sides, rare stuff, anything U2 officially put out and a few bootleg concerts
