No way did Out of Control deserve to go before 40. I like a bit of energy late in a gig. Hell, I've always thought The Fly would make a killer closer.

Exactly.

Can you imagine how much of a blast of energy a final encore of Gone/UTEOTW/The Fly would be? You'd need to put that combo at the end because I wouldn't be able to stand after it no matter what. If it opened a show I'd be wrecked for the rest of the night anyway.

As far as studio versions go, AIWIY is by far and away my favorite of these three, but that isn't the question.

Bad vs. 40 should be the final round.

40 is as mediocre as U2 can get, and thus I find in anti-climactic in any context. The other two are classics.

Love is Blindness is my favorite closer anyhow and the best 24th song ever played.

When did AIWIY appear 25th anyway? Maybe I'm having a brain fade, but I can't recall it.

Maybe you omitted it because it's the winner in everybody's heart and it would be cruel putting other inferior songs up against it? This seems a reasonable explanation to me.

Put One Tree Hill in the next round, it would have gone through anyway.
