This surprises me. I guess I like POP more than NLOTH. But I'm sure that, for me, those 3 POP tracks belong on the list.

After the experience of listening to MDH in spring 2000, ATYCLB was a real let down - for me, at least.

Agreed. I actually think MDH is a more interesting body of work than ATYCLB. A U2 album in the vein of GBHF/Stateless/NLMG would have been the perfect follow-up to Pop imo.

Trying to think of the top 5 is so hard.i know u2 have alot of critics for their most recent stuff but im finding it hard

I've probably forgotten something important and will  about it later

Tough, but let me give it a whirl for today...

Gone
Beautiful Day
When I Look at the World
City of Blinding Lights
Magnificent

The correct answer is...

1) Moment of Surrender

Which is in a class of its own.

The rest of the best, in no particular order:

Kite
City of Blinding Lights
Walk On
No Line on the Horizon 1
Staring at the Sun

Most important post-1997 song:

Beautiful Day

A little know damn good studio track and it's highly underrated. It's Bono pulling out some Frank Sinatra...
It's a good track, thanks. I like how his voice is recorded here -- it seems organically a part of the track, not like on NLOTH where his voice is mixed way too high and comes off shrill.

Tough call;

From 97 onward...

1. Magnificent
2. City of Blinding Lights
3. When I Look At The World
4. Gone
5. Beautiful Day

1 - Beautiful Day
2 - City of Blinding Lights
3 - A Man And a Woman
4 - Stuck in a moment
5 - Breathe

Special mention:

Elevation
Vertigo
Discotheque (Best of mix)
In a little while
Ill go crazy
Moment of Surrender
Staring at the Sun

Moment of Surrender
Kite
Beautiful Day
City of Blinding Lights
No Line on the Horizon

Gone is the only one from Pop that could make it on this list for me, but it just falls out.
