The Evolution of U2 on Drums

I thought this was really cool. This guy Justin Amos drums through 20 U2 songs over 13 albums in 9 minutes.

That is cool. In spite of the bad flashbacks I had to my younger brother who played War for me and first introduced me to U2. He got into drumming and we had a shared bedroom wall. I wanted to take a hammer to his drums.

that's lovely... really fun idea! it really shows how Larry Mullen Junior has written a heck of a lot of pretty epic distinctive and creative drum lines over his career - he's a solid drummer!

Fun watch. Thanks for sharing. Agree it’s fascinating to spotlight the drums and realize how many hooks and memorable parts he’s created. When it got to vertigo it was interesting to see the drum style return to something much closer to the style on earlier tunes. Good stuff.
