Hi everyone,

I posted this to the audio/video tour discussion thread, but I think it will get more views and chance of being answered here...

If there's a thread on this already, please paste the URL... couldn't find it.

Am wondering if anyone can help me find a translation of the scrolling Persian text that goes with the introduction to Sunday Bloody Sunday on this tour, as a tribute to the democracy protestors in Iran this summer.

I've heard it said that the text might be poetry by the famous poet Rumi, but don't know for sure. :hmm:

Help is appreciated, thank you!

I asked dad after the Gothenburg gigs since I'm not able to interpret Persian/Farsi myself, but from what I remember he said it was excerpts from ancient poems, and of course the signs from the protests in June read something along the lines of "They murdered my brother/sister" and such things. I would be very happy if someone found out what it did say and posted an actual translation.
