very little summary:
he talks about the bullfighting-"scenes with Bono, about how he once broke a guitar on stage when he jumped in between a "riot"in the public with some securitypeople. How he feels about Bono being away for the good cause and that he is prood of Johny cash being on Zooropa and what a crazy period it was.

the usual stuff ;)

Not much new stuff indeed:

- Edge says they are funny people but photos don't capture that. Tells about a shoot with Corbijn where he let his pants down to make them laugh
- Tells about playful rows with Bono on stage, like playing bull fight, chasing Bono around the stage. Says they are very good friends and complement each other because they are different in many ways
- Says the band supports Bono's political work, they all know music is his main interest, U2 is still alive because music is the band's main interest
- Says he accidently broke the neck of one of his Gibson Explorers, his favourite guitars, once at a show; says he's not the guitar breaking guy, he always has them repaired because he loves his instrument
- Says making the movie "It might get loud" was a great experience for him, he learned a lot from the other musicians
- Talks about Fez and how they had Marrocain percussionists in the studio one day and discovered how different their approach to music was
- Says a new album will be out soon, they are discussing it at the moment, says they wrote so many songs that all of them couldn't fit on Horizon
- Says the pressure in the 90s was much bigger and they don't want to do something like Zooropa again; says it was a "crazy time"
- Says he's proud they had Johnny Cash perform on Zooropa, JC has a great voice, and it was amazing that he performed on a song U2 had written
- Performing with Macca at Live 8 was an incredible experience
- Says he had to replace Bono as a singer in Sarajevo because B had no voice. Edge sang Bloody Sunday, says he was glad the audience knew the lyrics word by word. Says the band is very good in mastering crisis, they had a lot of it
- Says the upcoming tour is another experiment, they want to do something no one else has done before. It's exciting, he doesn't know where it will lead the band. Edge says they are discussing concepts for a show that could be seen from space

as a lifelong Beatles fan and a U2 fan for almost 30 years, that was a great moment in music for me!

Obviously he wants a shout out to his peeps back on the home planet.

I'm sure theres plenty of people who'd say you can already see Bono's head from outer space.

So, in other words, their goal for the tour is to make everyone in the stadium deaf and blind?

Wow! WTF, I can't wait for this tour to start! Space - man U2 is really out there, bring on the Tour A.S.A. effin' P!

i know many of us are in tour mode, but i'm very excited to hear that the band is still talking about releasing Songs Of Ascent. i was starting to worry.

Maybe Edge meant Songs of Ascent tour will be the one that is "visible from outer space" ... U2360 is already built, they can't be discussing the concepts for that.

What they'll do is hook a rocket to the lemon, blast off before each show, then "ascend" from the lemon which is now just in space, and plop down and start playing in the round!
