For Anaheim 2 I was standing at the rail for a while after the show watching the crew tear down. A bridge went by and a security guy was on the bridge waving and I just started applauding for him because I was really happy and he looked pretty cool up there. One of the crew walked by me (I think AJ is his name?) and he stuck the setlist in my hands while I was clapping. he totally surprised me.

What do you do when a kid from your class give you a goofy frame for an end of the year thank you? You get creative...

I made the Winnipeg paper on my birthday! So I had to get this framed.

Funny you say that. Um, I have a few 45's and then when I came home, I realized I have the same track up in 12".

Because my wife has a U2.com membership, we have two Artificial Horizons and two Medium Rare & Remastered.

I know I have two of something else as well.....

Having an item in 7", 12" and CD formats is O.K. Yes, it may be overkill, but for collectors, each item is considered different. I do have some JT era items in these different formats. I don't do that for all eras though (and 12" singles became less dominant in the 90's).

I'm actually talking about buying a U2 item, going home to put it into your collection and realizing there's a copy already there. LOL! Conversely, I've passed up an item thinking I had it, when I did not.

Ah....then doctorwho, for sure I've done that. Now I carry the pictures I've posted in this thread on my phone so I can remember if I have things or not. You are correct though. Some collectors have the same track on CD, then 10" then 7" and then cassette.

My thing is vinyl..... For U2 LPs, I'm missing the Best of the 80's on vinyl.

Ooo.... I like that picture too. It looks official. I can spot all of those pictures from previous tour publication. It look official with the "Island" records symbol. The only thing I've never seen before is the picture of the "queen" figure on the right side of the poster.

It's in the POP album artwork (at least in the vinyl gatefold version)
(Also it looks like a depiction of the Virgin Mary to me, but I don't know for sure)

Awesome shrines, you guys, all of you! If you came to my house, you'd know about my "U2 thing" only if you looked at my bookcase and saw a few books or if you realized what the picture of the "fallen over tree" on my wall is all about. This will change; I am inspired you all. Especially by U2BROTHR. Wow.

O.K., I've finally taken a few pictures with my phone to share.

In order to enter the "shrine" (which also has Doctor Who and Mego toy items), first you must pass:

Immediately to the left on the wall you'd see:

There's the inflatable trabant (inflated for now at least) along with an R&H poster and RIAA award.

Next to it is:

The AB poster and an AB RIAA award.

My favorite RIAA award though is for the 10x Platinum (Diamond) for JT:
