One, Anton Corbijn version
Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
The Fly
Discotheque
Staring at the sun

I smell a theme. :hmm:

The Sweetest Thing is one of my favorites.. for sentimental reasons.

And Electrical Storm for.. um Larry hotness reasons.

Most of their 90's clips were brilliant. Not sure of a single favourite.

80's and 00's... not so much. One or two from both that aren't too bad, but the majority were at best forgettable, at worst really embarrassing.

City of Blinding Lights

I love the song but don't like the video at all, i just think the song deserved so much better than just a performance video.
My favourites would be The Fly, Stay, Unforgettable Fire, Lemon,One(anton cobjinn. I dont think u2 videos have done the music justice down the years, too often they revert to performance pieces and shots, sometimes this works like in the one video but normally it doesnt, such as the electrical storm video.

My types:

1. ONE - version with Bono in a restaurant. All video is just perfect. Unique atmosphere.

2. ELEVATION - so funny :hyper: Especially The Edge with Lara Croft and Bono's flying baguette

3. DESIRE - great views and Bono's hair ^^

Moreover there are so many others cool videos like Sometimes you can't make it on your own with turning a room into an opera, I still haven't found what I'm looking for with Bono's face which has never looked as joyful as in this video, Where the streets have no name near the sky etc....

I must stop at this point, but the list could be soooooooo looooong:sexywink:

Electrical Storm, One (both versions, but I like the Anton one better), WOWY, Stay, Discotheque, Beautiful Day, Mysterious Ways...

And, what the hell, I like Gloria too. :shifty:

Ditto. Plus, the video is just so dark! That always bugged me.

Love Electrical Storm, love the Corbijn and the bar version of One, love Even Better Than the Real Thing.

Streets, Lemon, Stay ... lots of good ones.

Oh, I also really like If God Will Send His Angels. I don't think that one gets many mentions.

Also, Disco and BD are great.

Ha! As soon as I saw this thread title, that one came to mind for me. Love it.

So much video goodness in the 90s that I could probably list all of them and attempt to rank them, but the three that come to mind instantly for me are the above, Wild Horses, and Stay.

As a reminder I'm throwing this one in here. I added the No Line On The Horizon-era videos myself so maybe I forgot something.

As for my own reply, I'll have to think about it for a while.
Meanwhile, here's my favourite fan-made U2 video, put together by the extra-ordinary U2Mixer:

Beautiful Day
Elevation

I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight
Sweetest Thing
The Fly

And then of course...

DISCOTHEQUE!!

I'm not sure anything fit the song, fit the era and fit the general zeitgeist like The Fly.

That was the only "blow me away" moment a music video has ever given me.

The Fly, Discotheque, Lemon, Streets...

But I haven't even watched them all. :reject:
