Of all the negative adjectives the author of the article used to describe Bono, I think there is one that the author probably thinks is the most deragatory. "Irish". I sense that is the quality about Bono he can't stand more than anything else.

I got that too. It's racism towards the Irish.

Wonder if the author would have been so bias, towards an American, German, Scottish, Welsh, etc. And the comments about Bono's height. What the hell does that have to do with anything?

In the past, I have cringed at some of the photo opportunities. Government officials (United States) have taken advantage of with Bono. But, I know, Bono's heart is in the right place. So, I look past it.
