BD in hockey ad?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.
If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
Yeah, it bears close resemblance to BD but with a slower tempo and lower tuning. I don't know, but I think they are getting tired of using U2 songs, but they still want the U2 effect .

Wasn't there a car commercial once that did something similar with Streets? I can definitely hear the general structure of BD in this one, but those chords deviate just enough to avoid any obvious plagiarism.

Hahahahaha I'm on my phone, someone please link to that one D-list TV show with the shitty Streets knockoff theme song. That was hilarious.

Few years ago, I saw a College Park, GA used car dealer ad that ended with BD (just "It's a Beautiful Day" during the fade-out). I saw it several times over a period of weeks. Can't remember the name of the place though - and I'm pretty sure it wasn't licensed, but it was most definately U2.
