If I don't see U2 this year...I'm cool with it

Posted 05-19-2011 at 10:26 PM by U2MaNaIcWeIdO (Bored Chicagoan)

I know I don't have enough money (if any at all) but if I don't see U2 again this year in Chicago....I'm totally cool with it.

I'm actually thinking about going to Brookfield Zoo on the day they come to Chicago. Plus that's one of the reason why I'm not on Intereference that much anymore...I feel like I'm not connecting with everyone else because I'm not going to see them again this year.

Shit hits fan..

Posted 04-23-2011 at 09:09 PM by RavenBlue

Seriously, April 2011 has been very trying. Lost my fiancee's grandmother, my uncle and now a town character all within the month. Too much, so much to deal with. It's times like this that music really rises to the forefront and shows that if noone else if there, music is.

It's been a Kite (from Slane) and a One( from Slane and Chicago) kind of month. I've been seeing the one from Chicago in my head, where Edge and Bono are just sort of howling at the end. That's how I feel lately...

Phillip Island

Posted 04-22-2011 at 05:51 AM by Saracene

Went to Phillip Island for a relaxing weekend a few weeks ago, with my Mum, sister and her fiancee. We didn't get out all that much, spending most of the time at the resort we were staying in, but because the weather was nice my Mum and I went out to the island, for a walk around the Nobbies. It's a gorgeous coastal area, and the bright green vegetation gives it an eerie, slightly surreal beauty. We didn't spot any wildlife, except for the silhouette of a penguin who was hiding under the boardwalk....

What is it like to have your memoir available to the masses?

Posted 04-02-2011 at 11:32 PM by Maxwellhouse

It is amazing. Four years of writing and sixteen weeks of hard editing are done. My memoir about being a U2 fan is finally available to the masses. As I got to the end of the project, I got scared. My whole intimate life was going public, which was really terrifying. When you are writing a book, you are so excited and then to think I have to get it to the masses, I panicked. But, now that it is out and we are moving forward with the PR, I could not be happier.

Romance and randomness

Posted 03-23-2011 at 04:06 PM by BlueSilkenSky (Life As I Know It)

Okay... so this is the second blog post ever, posted because there are a few things I have on the mind and I might as well tell them to a nonexistent audience. First off, I have been craving chocolate all day long. Weird. I should go get myself some chocolate covered raisens, but I don't want to move from this one spot.
Someone reviewed a story of mine on the website Fictionpress. I haven't gotten a review in a long time, so this was a big deal... He wants me to write more of the story,...
