The week from frell

Yea, this week was rough. Speculation, rumors flying and all the kind of things I really don't need right now. It was the lowest I had been since I came forward, but thanks to my boyfriend and support of friends.. I am still here.

Just came back from a funeral.

Why the fuck do people want to have open caskets!?

I just do not understand this. I mean, this will be the last time you see that loved one and you want to engrave that image of them in that state?

I've been trying to choose a watch for a couple of months now and I finally bit the bullet and got this today:

Really pleased with the purchase too.

Now if only I could start understanding this boy/man problem I have, my life would be pretty sweet.

I'm so envious of my parents.

Since my dad retired, they've traveled the world, and have been to Hungary, Russia, Mexico, IRELAND, and now the Holy Land! (however, their eldest daughter has never even ventured outside the continguous 48 states, go figure)

They're currently on a 10 day tour with Stuart and Jill Briscoe (very well known pastoral couple, who were the original pastors of my folks' church in Wisconsin). The tour will take them to a bunch of...
