One day at a time.

First off, thank you for the kind words of support. They mean alot, trust me. It seems the majority of folks would rather just dust this under the carpet rather than actually deal with it.

My doc took me off the meds I had been taking since 2001 when I reported to him I had been having not very pleasant thoughts on them. No tapering though, just stopped cold turkey and put me on Effexor. At that point, I was hoping for any kind of relief so I went along with it. But the Effexor...

Finally.

I had a good day today. I will hold on to this and try to continue with it. I realize the further I get down the healing road, the more better days I will have.

Sitting on the porch leaning your head against your soul mate on the first real t-shirt weather spring day can really do wonders for a weary country gal.

And some of yesterday, when I wasn't overthinking about what had happened was good. We went and fed ducks at the park. I hand fed...

Up and down.. that's been the mood swings have been trying to get over some issues. I do really good, then I get to thinking, then I get to dwelling, then I get depressed, then I cry. Something equalizes the situation and I rebound once more.

I feel a bit like a yo-yo.

A bit of a general question for those on depression pills. Are you still supposed to feel depressed when on them? Because that is still happening for me.
