After my first week working in the design room I can say I truly it. Everyone is great and I'm learning a ton of stuff about the industry they can't teach you at school. They have made me feel at home and a part of the team.
I get to play interpreter for Virginia (she is super sweet ) when she gets stuck trying to figure out the english equivalent of a french word. Now I have realized how much of an asset it would be in this industry to speak a second language....

Okay, maybe not surrounded more like flanked. I started interning at 575 Denim today. My workstation is on the second level, seated to my left is the Designer a scruffy Frenchman hipster who I'd catch through the side of my eye glancing at me periodically. I think he's trying to figure me out since I was sort of quite today. Seated to the right of me are the French graphic designer and Noushin the lady who I am working with. I'll be helping her put together the line sheets for their new kids clothing...
