NLOTH has dropped out of the mediatraffic top 40 this week. #40 position had 30,000 in sales. Even if NLOTH were not to add anymore sales to its total, it would not finish lower than #6 on the World chart at the end of the year based on current sales trends of the other albums. Also, if this were it for sales, it would likely still finish 2009 as the biggest selling album released in 2009, unless BEP catches them.
Only two albums appear to have any chance of reaching the 4 million mark at this point by the end of the year, Lady Gaga's The Fame, and Michael Jackson Thriller.
Amazing that the market has declined to such a degree that the best selling album of the year will struggle to sell 4 million copies worldwide.
