uTorrent and ESET configuration

Hello!

Who out there can help me configure my ESET Smart Security so that I can let me uTorrent do its thing? I can't seem to figure it out.

I was able to figure it out a few years ago ..... but damned if I can remember what I had to do!

Do you have the firewall set up? I think I have the firewall disabled.

I disabled it so my torrents would reseed but I don't want to leave it like that. I feel like a . Bah.

For what it's worth, I haven't had any problems with viruses or whatnot just leaving my firewall disabled. I feel like ESET is giving me what I need it to do without having the firewall.

But I know everyone has different risks they're willing to take with the net.

You could disable that firewall and enable Windows firewall. I've never had any firewall other than the standard windows one and don't get viruses (and I do torrent quite a bit).

I'm undecided about what to do about the whole firewall issue...

Can anyone explain why it's taking SO long for my torrents to reseed? It's been almost 3 days and they're not done yet.

ESET is Shit ! Even zonealarm does it better.

You can also use Ares a torrent downloader, the seeding is reliable and much faster from my experience.
