Howdy all,

I went out and picked up some cd's this week. Because I'm not at home anymore, and I can't download music...I need to fill a void of U2. So I gots me some different music...with varied results.

Radiohead: ok computer, amenaisac(sp)
Blur: best of
Coldplay: parachutes


Ok computer is my fav of this bunch. Blur is a big dissapointment. I like coffee and tv, that's it.

coldplay, I like the first song, that's it..too bad it's only 2 minutes long.

radiohead needs to get away from the "passenger" sound, and they'd be pretty good.

but none of it comes close to U2. Some radiohead can be moving.

Tender is very moving, as is This is a Low, and No Distance Left to Run.

I'm slowly getting into Parachutes.

Hey BEAL!

I am pleasantly surprised to hear that you went out and bought some non-U2 CDs. I think this is proof that you have become more open-minded since you moved out on your own. After all, this is they guy who used to ONLY listen to U2 and said that no other bands did anything for him.

Of course U2 will always be your favorite band but I am glad to see that you are listening to some other music as well.

Now, wil you please buy yourself a computer?
