DVDs, i need HELP!

ok, i just downloaded a movie as an AVI, nero is being gay and wont burn it, gets to 98% and stops, DVD shrink doesnt work cos its not in DVD format, the converters wont convert it properly.

and the film isnt available as DVD format yet either, canybody help me with this? thanks!

Well this is the wrong section to have posted and this thread will be moved or locked, but maybe try a different program for encoding it, for example http://www.topshareware.com/AVI-to-DVD-download-4954.htm

There are plenty of others out there.

Yeah, this ones really more political and religious issues, there may be a computer section somewhere, lemonade stand would be your next best bet.

yeh, im getting it replaced tomorrow along with a new DVD rom, we will see how the DVD writer and rom get along then, the current ones is serious Jerry springer stuff! i mean honestly, the dvd writer picked up the laser and burned the rom right out! talk about issues!
