Just wrote this.....I probably can understand why....


Disillusioned

Follow your dream
but where does it lead
to a two bit motel room
filled with cigarette smoke
blood stained sheets
from the last visit there.

Disillusioned with life
as the battle for survival
wages outside your window
perhaps some day it might end
where exactly is like the dice
caught up in the roulette wheel
that constantly spins and
never slows down..
it’s all in the numbers.....
it’s all in the cards.

Where or what is the answer as
the time on my watch just
keeps ticking down
another day starts again
to the sounds of the city
torn apart by the violence
I ask myself why I survive
the fraility of it all...
so fragile
like sitting on the edge of nowhere.

Follow your dream
but where does it end....
perhaps a return flight home
but then that would be defeating
the purpose of it all
so I’ll insert another CD
and try to remember the details
of yesterday
which I’d rather forget....
but you know the storyline
and how it goes.

I like what you wrote, Carol. I don't know what brings so much pain and anxiety and blue feelings to you, but I like the way you react to that, the way you're able to put emotions down in words.

This makes me thinks about what I will live in a couple of weeks... Both scaring and interesting...

Thank you very much.....you should read my previous post called My Neighborhood...it may help you understand.

I woke up the morning I wrote this and just typed it all in within a few minutes. It's often a message from someone...somewhere......I do not know who and I do not know where......you don't know how often I wonder about it, especially this writing. There are many others which I don't post but keep within my journals.

I personally like to write about dragons and quests {though I will never attain Tolkien status for he was a true genius...not only the LOTR but many other writings...worlds and peoples and wars, languages...it's actually incredible if one ever studies all his writings...he was a linguist as well}......although I am seriously considering authorship. I have many interesting thoughts in mind but right now I just do not have the time to pen it.

Hope you find a place to stay.

I read it when u wrote -- perhaps I made a comment too, I don't remember.

If you're considering authorship, why don't you try??
I mean, I know that perhaps you lack the time to really do but if that's what is in your mind you should at least try.

It doesn't seem difficult for you to write down your thoughts and IMO you're good at it!!
