It was outside the ACC in Toronto just before the 3rd leg of the Vertigo tour...

There were 6 or 8 of us standing around the entrance.


Adam's car came in, he waved. Then Edge's. Then Larry's. A few minutes later, Larry's security came up and told us that if we behaved, Larry would come up to meet us. He did. It was incredible.

We were all waiting for Bono. He was late, as usual. When he finally drove up, he rolled down the window, said he was really sorry but he was late for rehearsal, and to meet him at the exit at 8 pm. We did. By then there were 20 or 30 people there, but he cme out and spent a minute or two with each of us. And absolutely incredible experience. A huge bear hug. Signed two things for me...I only asked for one, but he offered the second...what a sweetie.
