    Echo and the Bunnymen

https://www.thesun.ie/tvandshowbiz/3281737/echo-bunnymen-u2-bono-feud/ What's next? Bit Country and a reunited Blag Flag w/Henry Rollins opening for U2 next tour? Stone and Parker making a U2 musical in a tribute to the band?

    MacPhisto Calling

This just occurred to me . . .since he's back and all . . . Why isn't MacPhisto calling the White House this tour?

    Billboard Music Awards

So I finally got around to looking over the nominations for this (meaningless) award show. It's probably a given that GnR will win Top Rock Tour & Top Touring Artist, since Billboard doesn't get an opportunity to kiss their ass very often. But if U2 loses to Imagine Dragons in either the Top...

    AXS Warning

Probably a bit late to sound the alarm for this, but I don't get the impression that too many people on this forum splurge for the VIP Silver, VIP Gold, or VIP Party Packages anyway . . . My first and only experience with AXS has been massively disappointing. I purchased 2 VIP Silver units...

Explain this one to me . . .

I've seen some remarkably dumb comments on album rankings before. But scan this ranking, read the #3 entry (Zooropa), and tell me if you see a problem here . . . U2, Coldplay, Depeche Mode Among 2017's Top-Grossing Tours

    5 decades in a row?

So U2 joins an elite company of artists that have had a #1 album in each of 4 decades? Can they make it to 5 decades? Maybe. With the next decade just around the corner and the new strategy of grouping album sales with ticket sales, I'd say they have a strong chance. That is, if they don't...

    Bono the Oligarch!

I think this is a bit of a load personally. Then again, this site is lefty. And while I seem to land left a good deal of the time, there are limits...

    Ever convert some to U2?

So I was reflecting on a time when I converted a former gf U2, that is, liking some of their music. I used to avoid playing U2 around her, then one day I thought "maybe I can convert her . . no one can resist the live version of Bad off of WAIA. It worked. She then listened to TUF and loved...

How many JT songs on SOE tour?

How many songs off of JT will be represented on the next tour? I'm going with one: Streets. Yes, even WOWY and ISHFWILF will NOT make the next tour. Could be that two songs from SOI appear regularly in the SOE tour set list. Finally, as perhaps a tribute to POP (and the late acknowledgement...

    The last stadium tour?

Anyone else get the feeling that this will be the end of stadiums for U2? Even if they do a AB/ZOO TV anniversary tour, I think it will be in arenas. I know Henry Rollins declared the post-mortem after POPMART, but I knew he was wrong then, and I don't want to commit the same error, but . . ...

Billboard 200 and sales for JT

I note that JT is the biggest gainer this week on the Billboard 200, surging up to #16. Presumably, the chart focuses on more than just sales, but it makes me wonder about the JT sales over the years and if there is a reliable tally. Anyone?
