This is exactly the problem, regardless of whether U2 or the venue sets the rules or works with the list runners. When the venue (or U2, Ticketmaster, whatever) sends out official notices to all GA ticketholders, and then the list folks work with whoever they work with to alter those rules for...

100% this. We were on Adam's side at the e-stage and the people around us were totally into it, and the band seemed to be loving it.

In all fairness the Forum does a great job, i showed up midday, got a numbered wristband from the Forum staff, and went back to the hotel to eat lunch. No list needed; all the list people had already left. I didnt look for any fake Priuses.
