It sucks, cause you can't get past the human chain, but they didn't beat us or anything LOL. They just told us to please not try to jump over them and stay where we were. After the show they typically line up to let people out in groups to avoid a stampede.

It is the norm, and those military guys are really nice. I've seen it once at the Paul McCartney show. They only do it when they anticipate huge crowds.

Nah, it does. Quite often. Moscow is a city of 12 million people. There's always the military involved when there's a large crowd. It sucks, cause you can't go past them once they block you off.
