All Critical Reviews of the New album here

My point is that certain people have no problem "stealing" music they like for free, but when "given" music from a band that they are too fucking hip to like, they're all up in arms. The haters can all delete it and go on with their lives, or they can piss up a rope and chew on the wet end.

The Miracle (of Joey Ramone) - Song Discussion

The whoahs and the the verse melody and vocal delivery remind me of 30 Seconds To Mars. And they can only improve the live performance after what we saw today. Not terrible, but as far as album openers, it's no Vertigo or Boots.

    Help!

I still can't for the life of me figure out how to open the .pdf. I tried what was posted, and that didn't work. Oh well, I'm buying the vinyl anyway. But I would love to see the pix and liner notes before next month.

This is the best U2 album since......

I'm still not sure why NLOTH gets such a bad rap. It has, IMO, 4 of the GREATEST U2 songs in their catalog. NLOTH, Moment Of Surrender, Unknown Caller, and Breathe. I can always skip over SUC (Which could've been amazing with different lyrics). I would have so say that this is the best album...

Do you think the band is sick of Moment Of Surrender?

This is the very reason I came here to post. He skips the second part of verse 1. "even on our wedding day"......anyone know why, it's a little hard to find answers around here.

Miss the NLOTH songs? Or not?

:applaud: Couldn't agree more. Stingray Guitar was kinda cool, but also kinda weird. Didn't care for Beautiful Day as the opener. When NLOTH first came out, I thought Breathe would be THE PERFECT song to end the whole show. "We are people borne of sound The songs are in our eyes Gonna...

at the 3:10 mark - COME ON NOW LOVE>>>>>>>DON"T YOU LOOK BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just one example, but the similarities are obvious. To JBJ - anyone see any recent interview with him? Seems like he thinks the weight of the world is upon him. Check out the documentary When We Were...

Best song live from new album

I agree with you - Magnificent has too many repetitive sections as it is, but the unnecessary "OH OH OH"'s in concert are just too much. I always thought the song was too long on the NLOTH album, and live...... I wanted it to be more. And even though Edge seems to fuck up to solo on UC more...

    The "X" Factor, 2010

Are u2 really still THE biggest band in the world?

No, this thread is about whether or not U2 is still THE biggest band in the world........according to our young friend torn vinyl, U2 can't hold Mick Hucknall's jock. We all grow up sometime............

Are u2 really still THE biggest band in the world?

Whatever point torn vinyl is failing at trying to make, what we can all learn from this silly argument is that NOTHING WILL EVER BE BIGGER THAN ELVIS ARON PRESLEY. Ever. I hope U2 can live with their failures.......
